Ordering and Customization Process

We understand that ordering custom furniture online can feel intimidating, and we’re here to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible. At SP Woodworks, we take pride in our craftsmanship, and we’re committed to providing you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.

To ensure you’re happy with your purchase, we offer an expansive gallery showcasing our work and detailed articles on our design process. We also provide stain sample packs in the wood of your choice, so you can select the perfect finish before your item is crafted. Once a stain color is finalized and applied, any subsequent requests to change the stain color will incur an additional charge.

Please note, rough sawn tables cannot have their stain color changed after the initial selection due to the unique nature of the wood.

 

Custom Woodworking Warranty

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every custom piece we create. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the SP Woodworks Custom Woodworking Warranty. If any issues arise due to faulty construction or materials, we will carefully evaluate the situation and work with you to determine the best course of action to address the concern. This warranty applies under normal residential use and proper care.

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper maintenance, or environmental factors such as extreme humidity or temperature changes. Because wood is a natural material that responds to its environment, we strongly recommend following our care instructions to help ensure the longevity and performance of your custom furniture.

If you notice any defects or concerns upon receiving your furniture, please contact us within 30 days of delivery to initiate a warranty review. We are committed to working with our clients in good faith and will do our best to reasonably accommodate and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, which may include repair, adjustment, or other appropriate solutions.


 

Shipping and Delivery

We offer shipping or delivery for all of our custom woodworking pieces. We work with trusted carriers to ensure that your furniture arrives safely. If your item is delivered damaged, and the damage is noted at the time of delivery, we will either repair or replace it as part of our commitment to quality.
